Marilyn Manson, the legendary and controversial rocker, proudly announced another milestone in his music career.
The ‘90s icon, who became an influential figure in the shock rock and industrial metal genres, unveiled a special treat for fans just months before his North American tour.
In an Instagram post, the 57-year-old rock star revealed his 13th studio album, One Assassination Under God - Chapter 2, set to be released on Aug. 14 through Nuclear Blast Records.
This marks his first album in two years following the release of One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1 in 2024.
To celebrate the moment, the Grammy-nominated artist released his lead single “Exit Wound,” a track co-produced and co-written with acclaimed musician and record producer Tyler Bates.

The first single featured a mix of glam, goth rock and industrial metal anthem, which also served as a continuation of his 12th studio album.
“I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God. This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen, I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget" he captioned his post.

Marilyn Manson’s One Assassination Under the God and Freaks on Parade Tour 2026
Following the success of his European winter leg tour from October to November 2025 and the North American spring leg earlier this year, Manson is back on the road for a string of shows and will be returning to Europe and North America for another set of intense performances.
“The Beautiful People” hitmaker heats up the summer in Europe with One Assassination Under the God Tour kicking off this July.
