Police in west suburban Lombard were investigating after a motorcyclist died following a crash with a vehicle on Sunday, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 1:04 a.m. in the area of Finley Road and 22nd Street. Police said the motorcycle rider sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead following the crash.
The rider hadn’t been identified as of Sunday afternoon.
The incident remains under investigation by Lombard police in conjunction with the DuPage MERIT Major Crash Reconstruction Team.
