2026 NCAP Qualifier
June 11-14, 2026 Stafford, VA LCM (50 meters) Meet Central Meet Mobile “2026 NCAP Elite Qualifier” Days 1 & 2 RecapThe final night of competition at the 2026 NCAP Qualifier featured Sara Curtis touching in a 53.76 in the 100 free for the win. Curtis has been as fast as a 53.29 that she swam at the 2025 World Championships while leading off Italy’s women’s 4×100 free relay to 7th. Her season best is a 53.40 from the Italian Championships in April.
After making her LCM 50 back debut the other day, Bryn Greenwaldt swam another new long course event, this time winning the 50 fly in a 26.94. She was slightly faster in prelims with a 26.91. This is only her 4th ever LCM meet.
14 year old Kallie Hersh was the youngest winner on the night as she touched in a 34.26 in the 50 breast.
Other Women’s Event Winners:
200 IM: Emma Cigna, 2:17.41 200 back: Kate Boutry, 2:20.96The men’s side saw Alessandro Borsato win the 50 breast in a 27.79, a lifetime best. Borsato swims collegiately for George Washington and won the 100 breast at the 2026 A-10 Championships.
Fellow collegiate swimmer David Yune earned a win as he touched in a 52.22 in the 100 free, dropping from his previous best of a 52.38 that he swam last July. He swims for William & Mary.
Ball State’s Andre Friend swam to a win in the 50 fly with a 24.98. Friend was 6th in the 100 fly at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
