2026 Ocala Sectionals

June 4-7, 2026 Ocala, FL LCM (50 meters) Meet Mobile “2026 FL SZSS Sectional Championships” Meet Central Day 1 Recap Day 2 Recap

After swimming to a lifetime best in the 200 free on Friday, Kentucky commit Karrington Hansen swam another lifetime best on Saturday. Hansen won the 400 free in a 4:15.41, dropping from her previous best of a 4:17.62 that she swam at US Summer Nationals a year ago for 29th. Her time today would have moved her up to 17th.

Ava Dipasquale had another strong swim on the weekend with a 2:20.07 in the 200 IM for the win. That marked a 1.95 second drop for the 14 year old. Like her 400 IM best time, she sits just outside the top 100 in the 200 IM for the 13-14 age group as well as it takes a 2:19.55 to sit in the top 100 all-time.

Winning the 50 free was Elyse Wood who touched in a 26.10. Wood represents the Bahamas at the international level and came into the day with a lifetime best 26.85. She will join Virginia Tech this fall as she is transferring in from Marshall.

Cincinnati commit Peyton Brooks dropped 1.01 seconds off her lifetime best in the 100 back with a win in a 1:03.47. Both of her splits were faster than her previous best.

The boys side was highlighted by Logan Robinson as he won the 200 IM in a 2:05.56. Robinson has been as fast as a 2:01.68 before and finished ahead of Trey Chesney who dropped a second to touch in a 2:06.73.

Robinson’s teammate at Florida State, Andrew Rich swam to a 56.45 100 back for the win. That was just off his lifetime best 56.30 he swam at Ocala Sectionals back in 2023.

After winning the 200 free last night, Nicolas Kokidko posted a 2.73 second drop in the 400 free to touch in a 3:56.80. He is committed to Florida State for fall 2027. Also earning a win was Julian Granison who touched in a 23.06 50 free. Granison is a Florida commit for 2027.
