Israel has intensified intelligence-gathering effortstargeting US officials to obtain information about President Donald Trump'sstrategy in negotiations with Iran, the New York Times (NYT) reported onSaturday.
Citing US officials and intelligence assessments, the NYTdescribed Israel's intelligence activities as unusually aggressive, claimingthey exceeded those of any other US ally and, in some cases, even countriesconsidered US adversaries. The report indicated that Israeli intelligenceservices stepped up efforts to monitor senior US officials, including PresidentTrump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff.
