Profanatica, the black metal veterans, have scheduled something big for fans this year.
The three-piece band took to social media to announce an upcoming summer tour.
The "Weeping in Heaven" hitmakers are set to hit the road once again as they embark on the U.S. Summer Tour 2026.
In an Instagram update, Profanatica revealed that the tour will run from late July to early September, with their first show taking place in Portland, Maine, followed by a string of shows in major cities such as Austin, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Brooklyn, Salt Lake City and more before wrapping up in Providence, Rhode Island.
Apart from the multiple stops, the band will share the stage with special guests One Master, Morbosidad and Cloak as supporting acts.
Prior to the upcoming tour, Profanatica, whose members are Paul Ledney, Adam Besserer and Alletta Ergun, completed two major tours last year, traveling across both Europe and North America to perform for fans.

The Story Behind Profanatica’s Name and the 10-Year Break That Nearly Ended the Band
The ’90s metal band once revealed the reason behind its unique and at the same time intriguing name.
“It’s Latin,” the band told Voices From the Darkside, adding “It stands for the “Profanator Of Heaven”. Our friend who teaches English at a college in Connecticut thought of the name because he studies dead languages and things like that. And we wanted a name that nobody else had the same meaning. So it’s “Profanator Of Heaven” or “Desecrator Of Heaven”.
While Profanatica’s name has long sparked curiosity among fans, its history is just as compelling.
The band experienced a ten-year hiatus from 1992 to the early 2000s due to internal issues within the group.
At the time, the master tapes for their supposed 1992 debut album were destroyed due to intense conflict among the band members.
It was in 2007 when the band released their full-length album, Profanatitas de Domonatia, under Hells Headbangers Records.
The band reunited in 2001 and Alex Cox later joined the lineup as bassist following the death of original bassist Aragon Amori in 1996.
