IO Interactive is certainly no stranger to DLC in the Hitman series, but how is the update roadmap for 007 First Light looking?
First Light is rather more story-focused than the chaotic assassination sandbox of Hitman, but that doesn't mean there isn't more to come from IOI.

007 First Light roadmap: Will there be DLC?
007 First Light will have post-launch content, although it isn't clear just yet whether that means full-fledged DLC or just regular updates.
According to IOI chief development officer Véronique Lallier, post-launch content is something that the team has done "very successfully with Hitman," with a "roadmap of content" already planned for First Light.
"For us, the way we see things is: launching the game is just the beginning, and it's important for us to learn and listen to the feedback of the players and everybody and see, okay, how can we do it better?" she said.
"What should we do more? What should we do less? And that's something we've been doing with Hitman [for] over a decade with World of Assassination, and we're going to definitely try to bring more content."
Unfortunately, if you were hoping for some more story missions to play through, it seems unlikely that this is the kind of post-launch content Lallier is talking about – that means no out-and-out DLC.
Instead, she's referring to TacSims, with plans in place for a series of post-launch TacSims already confirmed.
That being said, there's no confirmation that DLC is not in development, so that could be the case, but we think it's probably more likely that any future story content is being reserved for a sequel, rather than DLC.
