Hershey is celebrating one of its residents who rose to fame with a special-edition release—a candy bar of his very own. The candy company is honoring athlete Christian Pulisic with a limited-edition chocolate bar featuring his name.
With Pulisic hailing from Hershey, Penn., the collaboration only made sense, and it comes at the perfect time as we head into a summer of soccer tournaments. In an Instagram video, the professional soccer star celebrated the release by dedicating it to his mother. "This one goes out to my mom, 'cause she's one of the most important people in my life," he explained.
He then called his favorite lady to deliver the exciting news. "Hey mom, I've got something special to show you. Are you ready?" he teased, before flashing the candy bar—which features his name plastered across the packaging where "Hershey's" would usually be—up to the camera for her to see.
"Oh my goodness," she can be heard responding, to which Pulisic proudly replies, "I think I've officially made it."

(where it all started), on June 6, as well as Times Square, NYC, from June 25 to 27, at a Philly pop-up inspired by Pulisic’s “happy place.”
