ECB expects losses in 2027
In the same financial disclosure, the board suggested that the lack of a home series against India next year would ultimately result in losses.

England's upcoming schedule
The ECB argubaly have their hands full with the national team's upcoming schedule, for both men and women.
England recently appointed former Australian batter Marcus North as their men's selector. His first assignment will be a three-match Test series against New Zealand, scheduled to begin on June 4.
India's limited-overs tour will follow the Test series and will be followed by The Hundred for both men and women. England will then host a three-match Test series against Pakistan. The home summer will eventually end with a limited-overs tour by Sri Lanka.
England's women arguably have bigger things to look forward to. The Women's T20 World Cup will be played in June and will be hosted by England. In preparation for that event, they will play a three-match T20I series against both New Zealand and India.
After the World Cup, India will play England in a Women's Test at the iconic Lord's cricket ground. England Women's home summer will end with a three-match ODI against Ireland.
