2026 Richmond Super Sectionals
May 14-17, 2026 Richmond, VA LCM (50 meters) Psych Sheets Day 1 Recap Day 2 Recap Day 3 RecapHighlighting the final night of competition in Richmond was the boys 200 backstroke as Wyatt Vitiello dropped 3.29 seconds to win the event in a 2:01.72. Vitiello is a Texas A&M commit for this fall. He touched ahead of Andy Roose who swam to a 2:01.99. Roose was 21st in the SCY 200 back at 2026 NCAAs.
Also swimming to a win on the boys side was Moses Wolf as he won the 200 breast in a 2:22.24. That was a huge best time for Wolf as his previous best was a 2:30.14. He dropped over 10 seconds in the last year as he swam a 2:33.01 at this meet a year ago.
16 year old Avery Heron swam to a win in the 800 free with a 8:20.36, dropping 1.73 seconds off his best time. His best time a year ago was a 8:29.56. He has dropped time in the last four meets where he has swam the race. The final win of the night on the boys side came from 15 year old Brody Wall who won the 50 fly in a 25.59.
NC State commit Emerson Callis earned another win this weekend on the girls side as she swam to a 2:35.85 in the 200 breast, only 0.59 off her lifetime best 2:35.26. Callis swam to five individual wins this weekend.
Virginia Hinds, a Georgia commit for this fall, swam to a win in the 200 back with a 2:16.04. Her lifetime best is a 2:13.14 from June 2024.
A pair of 15 year old girls earned wins tonight as Maddie Bynum won the 50 fly in a 27.62 and Broughton Webb won the 1500 free in a 17:25.26. Webb won by 7 seconds but added 3.82 seconds from her lifetime best.
