NCSAs finalist William Domokos-Murphy has announced his commitment to swim for the University of Indianapolis beginning in the fall of 2026.
“I am very honored and thrilled to announce my academic and athletic commitment to the University of Indianapolis. I would like to thank Coach Cole for making the process so easy, as well as my parents, coaches, and friends who pushed me to get to the place I am at today. GO GREYHOUNDS!!!”
The Florida native is currently wrapping up his senior year at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, where he swam for the school’s varsity swimming and diving team all four years. Domokos-Murphy currently trains year-round with Saint Andrew’s Aquatics, primarily specializing in free and back.
At the 2025 FHSAA (Florida High School Athletic Association) Class 1A State Championships in November, Domokos-Murphy delivered a series of personal best performances. He placed 5th in the 500 free (4:33.03) and 9th in the 200 free (1:40.01), setting new lifetime best times in both races. He also logged a personal best time in the 100 free (45.96) as the leadoff on the 400 free relay, helping Saint Andrew’s to a 3rd-place finish in the event.
A month later, Domokos-Murphy turned in another strong showing at the 2025 PST 35th Annual Winter Championship. He took 3rd in the 500 free (4:33.38), 4th in the 100 free (46.20), 200 free (1:41.04) and 200 back (1:53.80 – PB) and 13th in the 50 free (21.73 – PB).
Domokos-Murphy recently raced at the NCSA Spring Championships in March, where he posted a series of strong performances and earned a second swim in three of his events. He placed 18th in the 500 free (4:29.49 – PB) and 30th in both the 100 free (45.96) and 200 free (1:40.19). He also contested the 200 back (1:54.64).

The Greyhounds sent 10 athletes on to compete at the NCAA Division II Championships in March, where the team placed 4th overall.
Based on the results from the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships, Domokos-Murphy would have landed in the ‘B’ final in the 500 free and the ‘C’ final in the 100 free, 200 free and 200 back, putting him in a position to score some points for the Greyhounds right from the start.
Joining Domokos-Murphy in the pool this fall are Grayson Pudleiner (breast/fly) and Eli Holmes (free/breast), who should both make for strong training partners over the next four years.
