The 2026 college baseball regular season is about to wrap up, which means most fans are thinking about the postseason. SEC teams have 3 more conference contests on their schedule before heading to Hoover, Alabama for the SEC Tournament.
This week, D1Baseball has updated its field of 64 projections. Twelve SEC teams are in the NCAA Tournament project. The projections have 11 teams in the top 32 national seeds.

The top 16 seeds will be Regional hosts, and D1Baseball currently has 7 SEC teams in that group. Those hosts, however, would like to be in the top-8 seeds and control their own destiny when it comes to where a Super Regional would be played. Five SEC teams are now in the top-8 group, up from 4 last week as Alabama now checks in at No. 7.
Outside the top-32 seeds, Kentucky is considered to be on the bubble and one of the Last Four In to make the field of 64.
