The injured guards restrained him until San Diego Police officers arrived at the scene. He never got inside the club, and “the safety and well-being of our staff and guests remain our top priority,” according to the Mavericks spokesperson.The judge agreed to postpone the hearing until July 21.Chase has pleaded not guilty to four counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Also charged with only one count of felony assault is his friend, Brayden Sanders, 25, and he has also pleaded not guilty. Sanders remains free on bond.
