Former Arkansas guard Darius Acuff had a good first day at the NBA Scouting Combine in Chicago on Monday.
One day after the NBA Draft order was officially set, Acuff and other invited prospects arrived to give their official measurements. Height, wingspan, standing reach and other benchmarks have become increasingly-important to NBA front offices in recent years.
Acuff measured in at just 6-foot-2 without shoes on, which is below-average for an NBA point guard. However, his 6-foot-7 wingspan should give him plenty of length to match up with other guards on the defensive end of the floor.

Acuff led the SEC with 23.5 points per game while shooting 48% from the floor and 44% from 3-point range. He also had an SEC-best 6.4 assists per game against just 2.2 turnovers per contest.
Acuff is considered to be among the best of the lead guard options in this class — a group that includes players like Kingston Flemings, Labaron Philon, Keaton Wagler and Brayden Burries, among others.
