Australian power forward Ajak Nyuon has committed to Arizona State for 2026, he announced on Instagram.
In six games for the NBL1’s Centre of Excellence this year, he averaged 11.5 points per game on 45.7% shooting. He added 6.3 rebounds in 21 minutes of work.
The 6-foot-10 Nyuon has also played for the U17 and U19 Australian national teams. In seven games this past season, he averaged 2.3 points (50% shooting) and 1.7 rebounds across 7.3 minutes per game.
The 18-year-old marks Arizona State’s second commitment under head coach Randy Bennett, who will hold his introductory press conference on Thursday after replacing Bobby Hurley earlier this offseason. Four-star guard JRob Croy was the first player to sign on with ASU upon Bennett’s hiring. Croy is the son of ASU associate head coach Rock Croy.

The Sun Devils have also seen plenty of additions through the transfer portal, highlighted by former Saint Mary’s forwards Paulius Murauskas and Dillan Shaw.
Murauskas was the ninth-ranked player in the portal this offseason after averaging 18.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in 2025-26. He was honored with his second First Team All-WCC award.
That’s not to say there haven’t been departures through the portal for ASU, the biggest being center Massamba Diop. He now suits up for Gonzaga.
