A 17-year-old has died after he was shot in the Woodlawn neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
According to Chicago police, the teen was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 1500 block of East 63rd Street at approximately 5:18 p.m. Thursday.
The teen had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified the teen as 17-year-old Miguel Joses, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
An investigation is underway, and there was no further information available.
