"Eddie [Rabbitt] called me and asked, 'Would you do some harmony on one of my songs?' I said, 'Send it to me.'" Gayle began.
"He sent me the song and I called him back and said, 'I can do a little bit more than harmony,'" the entertainer continued. "Eddie had put his voice down already. So I went to the studio and I put it down and that was it."

She concluded, "I had his voice with me. I love Eddie. His voice was incredible, his writing and with that song, we did a lot of touring."
