According to Bloomington police, a fight broke out between two women near a fast food restaurant on Kirkwood Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

While initial reports indicated a total of nine people had been shot, officials later clarified that five victims had been struck by gunfire, according to NBC affiliate WTHR in Indianapolis.
Of those, four were adult women and one was a 17-year-old, according to police.
Several other individuals suffered cuts and scrapes as they fled the scene of the shooting, authorities said.
There are no suspects in custody, and an investigation remains underway.
