Police are urging parents and guardians of students at Wauconda High School to speak with their children about potential interactions with a man who provides career and college services at the school and was arrested on Thursday.
Adam Faulkner, a staff member at the College of Lake County, was placed on leave April 16, the same day the Wauconda Police Department was informed about allegations him, police said in a news release. On Thursday, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a home in connection with the investigation and recovered evidence showing Faulkner “engaged in grooming and indecent solicitation” of two female students.
Faulkner was charged with two counts of solicitation of child sex abuse material, two counts of grooming and two counts of indecent solicitation of a child.
Parents and guardians whose children may have interacted with Faulkner were asked to call the Wauconda Police Department Investigations Division at 847-865-0399.
