Yeah, that was a blowout. A rare clunker from Javier Assad, as the Phillies were all over him. Lots and lots of hard contact, lots of damage. Maybe they were picking up something (now that we know just how prevalent that is around baseball, and also given that Assad usually does a much better job keeping hitters off-balance).
In a game that had been a little tighter, it would’ve stung more to see ANOTHER night of missed opportunities for the Cubs’ bats – heck, they had more RISP chances than the Phillies did!
