Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has achieved a unique feat, becoming the youngest player to score 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). At the age of 26 years and 216 days, the India ODI and Test captain overtakes Virat Kohli to become the youngest Indian to score 4K runs in the cash-rich league. Having made his IPL debut way back in 2018, the Punjab batter has taken 121 matches to breach the 4000-run mark in IPL.

Shubman Gill went past the 4000-run mark in the IPL 2026 game between LSG and GT at the Ekana Stadium on Sunday. Gill finished as GT’s second-highest run getter in the previous edition of the tournament with 650 runs from 15 games.
