US President Donald Trump on Sunday confirmed the rescue ofa second crew member from an F-15 aircraft previously downed in Iran,describing the operation as one of the most daring US search-and-rescue effortsin recent history.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump indicated that the USmilitary deployed dozens of aircraft equipped with advanced weaponry to recovera wounded Colonel from “behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains ofIran,” confirming that the pilot is now “ SAFE and SOUND!”
