LOMPOC, Calif. (KEYT) – A 41-year-old Lompoc man was arrested after an investigation into his online communications allegedly involving sending sexually explicit images of himself to two minors in other states.
In February of this year, detectives received information that a man, later identified as a 41-year-old Lompoc resident, was communicating with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl stated a press release Friday from the Lompoc Police Department.
According to Lompoc Police, the investigation revealed that the 41-year-old used online platforms, including Chat Avenue and Discord, to contact the juvenile.
During the investigation, the 41-year-old allegedly communicated with a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl added the Lompoc Police Department.
Both children lived in other states shared the Lompoc Police Department.
Detectives determined that the 41-year-old had sent sexually explicit images of himself and stated a desire to meet the girls for illegal sex acts detailed the Lompoc Police Department.
On April 2, around 2:34 p.m., detectives located and arrested the 41-year-old on a Ramey warrant and he was booked on the following charges:
