More than 5,000 people have been killed across the Middle East in thefirst month of military hostilities between the United States and Israel on oneside and Iran on the other, since fighting erupted on February 28, according tocasualty figures compiled by Reuters, officials, and rights monitoringorganizations.
Iran has recorded the highest death toll among all affected countries,according to HRANA (Human Rights Activists News Agency), a US-based rightsmonitoring organization. The group reports 3,527 people killed since the warbegan, including 1,606 civilians and at least 244 children.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies(IFRC) reported Friday that at least 1,900 civilians have been killed and20,000 wounded in US and Israeli strikes on Iran to date. Security officials at an Iraqi port separatelyconfirmed that a foreign crew member was killed in an attack targeting tankersnear the facility.
Israel
Israel's emergency medical service reports 19 were killed by missilefire from Iran and Lebanon. The Israeli military states that 10 soldiers werekilled in southern Lebanon. Israeli forces also killed an Israeli farmer nearthe Lebanese border on March 22 in a friendly-fire incident.
Israel's Ministry of Health reported Friday that 6,594 wounded have beenevacuated to hospitals since the start of military operations against Iran. Asof Friday, 125 patients remain hospitalized: two in critical condition.
United States
Thirteen US service members have been killed. The US military confirmedsix deaths following the crash of a military refueling aircraft in Iraq; sevenothers were killed during operations against Iran. A US official told Reutersthat 12 American soldiers were wounded —two critically— in an Iranian attack onPrince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

UAE authorities report 11 people killed in Iranian attacks, includingtwo military personnel.
Qatar
Qatar's Ministry of Defense reports seven people killed on March 22 whena helicopter crashed over Qatari territorial waters following a mechanicalfailure during a routine mission. Syria's official state news agency SANA reported four people killed whenan Iranian missile struck a building in the southern city of Sweida on February28.
Bahrain
Bahrain's Interior Ministry reports two people killed in two separateIranian attacks, the most recent of which struck a residential building inManama.
Oman
Oman’s state news agency reported that two people were killed in a dronestrike on an industrial zone in Sohar on March 13, the first fatalitiesrecorded in the sultanate, which has hosted mediation talks between the UnitedStates and Iran. A shipping company separately reported that a crew member diedafter a projectile struck a tanker off the coast of Muscat.
Saudi Arabia
The Saudi civil defense said that two foreign workers were killed, a Bangladeshiand an Indian, by an “unspecified military projectile” that hit a residentialarea in Al-Kharj, southeast of Riyadh.

The French authorities confirmed the death of one soldier and the injuryof six others in a drone attack in northern Iraq, where French forces wereconducting counterterrorism training.
