Wynonna Judd took on one of Tammy Wynette's beloved country classics during a special tribute concert this week, and fans believe she truly did justice to the late star's legacy.

    Country artists gathered at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on Monday, March 30 to honor the late "First Lady of Country Music" with several musical performances, including Judd's rendition of the 1974 hit, "Woman to Woman."

    Videos of the performance have since been going viral on social media, with tons of fans giving Judd's rendition their stamp of approval.

    "She was phenomenal!" one fan gushed on Instagram, while other users left adoring messages for Judd, like "That's our Queen" and "You are so Great."

    Country Rebel uploaded a clip of the performance alongside the caption, "This cover would make Tammy Wynette proud," while several fans in the comments agreed.

    "[She] would make anyone proud," one fan wrote of Judd, while another fan on TikTok said Judd's performance was "very nicely done."

    When Judd, 61, first appeared on stage at Monday night's event, she took a moment to speak about her friendship with the late Wynette. As reported by PEOPLE, Judd stated: "I met Tammy Wynettte in 1984. She handed us our first award, the Horizon Award at the CMAs, and we quickly became family. She used to cook for me on her bus."

    "So, Ms. Tammy Wynette, you're my queen," she added.

    The tribute event was held just days ahead of the 28th anniversary of Wynette's death. The late legend died on April 6, 1998 at the age of 55.

    Other performers at the show also included Kimberly Perry, who performed Wynette's 1967 hit "I Don't Wanna Play House," and Terri Clark, who took on 1967's "Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad." The War and Treaty also performed Wynette's 1975 duet with her husband George Jones, "Golden Ring," in addition to Gretchen Wilson's cover of "Til I Get It Right", a performance of "Stand By Your Man" from Heart's Ann Wilson, and many, many more.

    Jones and Wynette's daughter, Georgette Jones even took the stage to cover her mom's beloved track, "He Loves Me All the Way."
