CLYDE, N.Y. — Two parents were arrested Thursday after two infants were brought to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies say the investigation started on March 15 when two six-week-old babies were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say the initial medical reports state both babies had injuries consistent with child abuse, with included trauma to their heads and bodies, brain bleeds, severe burns, and broken bones.
The parents, Camron Douglas, 32, who deputies say is a current parolee, and Brittany Spicer, 34, were arrested Thursday.
Douglas is charged with two counts of assault, and Spicer is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Both of them are being held at the Wayne County Jail.
