Sameer Rizvi, the middle-order batter from UP, was brought in as an Impact player to adapt to those conditions. Rizvi had never been able to play a very fine knock in the IPL before this match.
Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs added 119 runs in partnerships, with Rizvi contributing a well-made 70 runs off 47 balls. Tristan Stubbs contributed significantly with the bat, scoring 39 runs and leading their teams to a victory.
