Former General Hospital star Sofia Mattsson heading to a new daytime home, joining Peacock’s Days of Our Lives.
Soap opera journalist Stephanie Sloane confirmed the news in her brand-new newsletter, 'SoapSteph's Daytime Dish'.
According to Sloane, due to Days of Our Lives advance filming schedule, Mattson is expected to begin appearing on the soap opera in early 2027.
There has been no confirmation for what role Mattsson will be portraying, adding mystery to this casting announcement.

After seven years in the role, Mattson exited the series with her last episode airing July 18, 2025.
