Nikko Tjahaya from Brooklyn, New York has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at Brown beginning in fall 2026.

Tjahaya swims for Badger Swim Club and had a strong showing at the Senior Mets Winter Championship last month. There she swam to the win in the 200 breast, posting a lifetime best 2:14.25. She also swam to lifetime bests in the 100 free (52.51), 100 breast (1:02.01), 100 fly (56.69), and 200 IM (2:03.77).
Back in October, she swam at the World Cup stop in Carmel, Indiana. There she finished 29th in the SCM 200 breast with a 2:41.21. She also was 24th in the 50 breast (33.97) and 32nd in the 100 breast (1:13.87).
Tjahaya’s Best SCY Times Are:
100 breast: 1:02.01 200 breast: 2:14.25 400 IM: 4:22.77 200 IM: 2:03.77The Brown women finished 4th out of eight teams at the 2026 Ivy League Championships. They sent two swimmers to last week’s 2026 Women’s NCAA Championships as well. Morgan Lukinac led the team with 90 points at the 2026 Ivy League Championships with wins in the 100 free (48.29) and 200 free (1:44.20).
Based on her best times, Tjahaya would have made the Ivy League ‘A’ final of the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. Brown had no ‘A’ finalists in the 200 breast this past season while Angelina Chen was 4th in the 100 with a 1:01.58. Chen just finished her freshman season so the two will overlap for three years.
Tjahaya will arrive this fall as a member of the class of 2030 along with Anna Pansing, Delaney Schwab, Alegra Teixidor-Salerno, and Claire Bacu.
