ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The rest of our Friday will be chilly with highs around 30 but will feature plenty of sunshine. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy and still chilly, and may have a brief flurry pass by in the morning. Sunday we finally warm up past 50 degrees, with skies becoming mostly cloudy.
Monday is still pleasant with highs around 50 and partly cloudy skies… But the rest of the week is proving to be a tricky forecast, especially in terms of temperature. A stationary front will set up in the first half of the week, bringing a tight gradient in temperature from north to south. There has been a lot of inconsistency in the modeling data coming in but signs are pointing towards a warmer Tuesday and Wednesday before another fall in temperatures. We also expect multiple bouts of rain during this time period, so while it may look nice on the thermometer, it will still be pretty ugly out… And flooding may become a concern in spots depending on how much rain we get. So stay tuned over the next few days, because it’s going to be a wild ride.
