Arjun has been struggling with form in recent times; he represented Goa in the 2025-26 domestic season. The bowling all-rounder scored only 58 runs and picked up one wicket in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In his last competitive appearance in the Ranji Trophy, he scored 65 runs across four innings and picked up four wickets.

Yograj Singh, after accusing all of Arjun’s coaches of not getting the best out of him and misreading the all-rounder, the former threw a challenge to everyone that if Arjun trains with him for some months, he will turn him into the best batter in the world.

Arjun has played in five IPL matches so far, picking up three wickets at an average of 38.00 and an economy rate of 9.37. He will look to improve under the guidance of Zaheer Khan in IPL 2026.
