Iconic hip-hop star Nelly will be one of three artists set to take the stage at Brookfield Zoo later this summer.
Nelly, best-known for his best-selling album “Country Grammar” and a series of hit singles including “Hot in Herre” and “Ride Wit Me,” will be among the artists participating in this year’s “Roaring Nights” concert series at the zoo, officials said.
That series will get underway on Sunday, June 7 when Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge takes the stage, with Blues Traveler and Nelly also performing later in the year.
According to officials, tickets for the event include free parking at the zoo’s main parking lot, unlimited rides on the Ferris wheel and carousel, and full-day admission to the zoo.

Melissa Etheridge:
Sunday, June 7 at 7 p.m.
$55 for members, $65 for general public.
Blues Traveler:
Friday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m.
$50 for members, $60 for general audience.
Nelly:
Saturday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m.
$70 for members, $80 for general audience.
Music fans also have the option to purchase an “Early Access for Conservation” add-on for $35, which gives them access to the East Mall 30 minutes ahead of the general public.
A curated ticket package including wine, charcuterie and more is also available.
