Viewers who have been enjoying new period drama and Pride & Prejudice spin-off The Other Bennet Sister sadly have a while to wait for more episodes.
The first five were released at once on BBC iPlayer on Sunday 15 March, but episodes 6-10 won't be on the platform until Sunday 29th March at 6am.
As fans wait, they may be wondering whether the series, based on the novel of the same name by Janice Hadlow, will adapt all of its story, or whether there will be more stories to tell with Ella Bruccoleri's Mary Bennet in a potential second season.

Will there be The Other Bennet Sister season 2?
We don't yet know whether there will be a second season of The Other Bennet Sister. For now, it does seem unlikely, as the series has been based on a novel, and appears to have adapted the entirety of its story.
When speaking about the series for The Radio Times Writers' Room, screenwriter Sarah Quintrell said that she would "love to do more of this", but clarified that this meant "more stories taking a different angle into a story".
In another interview ahead of the show's debut, Quintrell said that the challenge when adapting the novel was "scale", adding: "The novel is huge, and I had ten half-hour episodes to make it work for television."
All of this suggests that Janice Hadlow's novel has been adapted in full and therefore, the series will be one and done. However, we have yet to get confirmation on this front, and its always possible a second season could take the story beyond the original novel, as has been the case in other TV novel adaptations.
When would a potential The Other Bennet Sister season 2 be released?
It's hard to say when a potential season 2 of The Other Bennet Sister would be released, given that one hasn't yet been confirmed.
However, we can look to the first season's speed of production for timings. The season was filmed in June 2025, meaning it has been turned around pretty quickly.
Therefore, we'd imagine a second season could potentially be produced at a similar pace, and be released sometime in 2027 - although, of course, that is all speculative for now.
Who would return to star in a potential The Other Bennet Sister season 2?
As only the first five episodes of The Other Bennet Sister have so far been released, and a second season has yet to be confirmed beyond them, it's hard to say at this point who could potentially return for a season 2.
One star who would surely be back is Ella Bruccoleri as Mary Bennet, while it's unlikely that Richard E Grant would return as Mr Bennet after the character died in episode 2.
