The shortlist of nominees for The P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award at this year's BAFTA Television Awards have been confirmed, with moments from Adolescence and The Celebrity Traitors among the contenders.
The list of six nominations was compiled by an esteemed independent jury of influential TV critics, as well as TV presenter, Josie Gibson. The jury was chaired by BAFTA’s Television Committee chair, Hilary Rosen.
The list of nominations includes the moment when Jamie snaps at the psychologist in Adolescence, the scene were Danny asks Jack "I didn’t make it, did I?" by the sea in Big Boys and the scene in Blue Lights were the police are warned of an ambush plot to silence a key witness.
The other three moments on the list are when Alan Carr won The Celebrity Traitors, Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade’s speed date in Last One Laughing, and the scene in What It Feels Like For A Girl where Byron leaves for Brighton to start Uni, and introduces herself as Paris.
The Memorable Moment Award is the only category at the BAFTA Television Awards which is decided by the public, with voting open right now until 9pm on Wednesday 22 April.
The winner will be announced at the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises on Sunday 10 May 2026.

The 2026 BAFTA Television Awards will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 10 May.
