LYNDONVILLE, N.Y. — A Lyndonville man faced multiple charges after being accused of sexually abusing a child, Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Stanley Jenks, 55, was charged with sex abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said. They say he abused a child younger than 11.
Jenks also faced charges of criminal possession of a weapon. Deputies said they found him with a gun that he was not supposed to have due to his status as a felon.
Jenks is being held at the Orleans County Jail on $2,500 cash bail, or $25,000 bond, pending his next court appearance in April.
