The third season of The Capture has kicked off in style, with a huge opening episode which saw two major twists right out of the gate.

When will The Capture season 3 episode 2 be released?
The first episode of The Capture season 3 was released at 6am on BBC iPlayer on Sunday 8 March, before airing at 9pm on BBC One later that night. The show will follow this release schedule for the rest of the season, with new episodes arriving on Sundays.
This means that episode 2 will be released on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Sunday 15 March, before airing at 9pm later that day on BBC One.

This is the same number of episodes as in both seasons 1 and 2, which were released in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
Creator Ben Chanan told Radio Times that he started writing season 3 thinking it would be the last run of the show - however, he said he could no longer be certain that that would be the case.
