Four more people have come down with measles as part of an outbreak linked to two Broomfield schools, and at least one of those people could have exposed travelers at Denver International Airport.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on Friday reported three new measles cases in Adams County residents and one in a Weld County resident.
All four patients are unvaccinated and had ties to Broomfield High School or Broomfield Heights Middle School.
Altogether, seven people have gotten measles in the outbreak.
State health officials announced 10 new locations where people may have been exposed to the measles virus through the new patients, including DIA on Feb. 16. Other possible exposure locations include health facilities in Broomfield, Westminster and Frederick, as well as restaurants, a church and a bowling alley.
