Weathers has balanced the rigors of being a college athlete, at the SEC level no less, with working her way through a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She has maintained a 3.99 GPA as a nursing major, logged over 360 clinical hours in the last two semesters, and been named to the Dean’s and President’s Lists five different times. On the basketball side, she has been a key contributor to the team’s success over the past couple years and started in every game this season.
She was also named to the 2026 SEC Community Service Team once and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team twice.
Timmons has been Alabama’s leading scorer over the course of the 2025-26 campaign, averaging just under 17 points during the regular season. She set a career high in scoring and then broke it only weeks later, and she boasts top-10 SEC marks in several categories, including the third-place spot in both free throw percentage (85%) and 3-point percentage (43%).
On multiple occasions she has bolstered the Crimson Tide in close games with second-half heroics, and she has overall provided strong offensive stability for Alabama often when it was most needed. Her efforts brought her SEC Co-Player of the Week honors in mid-January.
Alabama won Wednesday night in the SEC Tournament and will look to continue its run against No. 6-seeded Tennessee on Thursday night. The game will be at 7:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
