The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday evening that it had successfully targeted the Israeli Ministry of Defense and Ben Gurion International Airport.
In a statement carried by the Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC stated that the strikes were carried out using a combination of hypersonic missiles and attack drones.
The IRGC further claimed the destruction of seven advanced “enemy” radar systems, declaring that the surveillance capabilities of both the US and Israel in the region have been effectively “blinded.”
The statement warned of an impending escalation, noting that “attacks on the enemy will become more severe and wider in scope in the coming days.”
Simultaneously, the Iranian Army reported the destruction of six Israeli-affiliated drones over the past several hours.
The military identified most of the intercepted aircraft as Hermes-class drones, which were reportedly downed over Isfahan, Kurdistan, and Tehran.
According to the report, the interceptions were executed by localized air defense systems operating under the country’s unified Joint Air Defense Headquarters.
These developments mark the latest wave of Operation “True Promise IV,” a large-scale Iranian retaliatory campaign launched on Saturday.
Tehran maintains that the operation is a direct response to a massive joint strike by Washington and Tel Aviv.
That initial assault reportedly resulted in hundreds of casualties, including the historic assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several top-tier military commanders.
The conflict has since spiraled into a multi-front regional war, drawing in the Gulf states and Lebanon.
