Nate Bargatze's clean, clever comedy stylings feel like a natural match for a chain like Applebee's. And while the beloved casual-dining chain is not technically considered fast food, it has borrowed a few strategies from the fast-food playbook over the years, including drive-thru windows, online ordering and a variety of value meals. 

Bargatze's connection to the chain is personal, too. Before comedy, he and his wife both worked at Applebee's, he as a host, she as a server.
