The Sex Pistols‘ long-awaited reunion show will finally see the light of day.
In September 2025, the iconic British punk band postponed the tour after guitarist Steve Jones sustained a broken wrist, forcing the cancellation of all remaining North and South American dates. The newly scheduled dates feature two stops in Southern California, including a new show at SOMA in San Diego on Oct. 16 and a rescheduled one at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Oct. 18.
The upcoming tour will kick off Sept. 11 at Dallas’ historic Longhorn Ballroom, marking the band’s first return to the venue since their infamous and chaotic 1978 performance. In addition to the rescheduled dates originally announced for 2025, the band has added new performances in Austin, Boston, Columbus, Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix, Nashville and Salt Lake City.
Presale for the San Diego show begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, via Ticketweb.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com. Tickets purchased for tour dates postponed in 2025 will be honored at the rescheduled 2026 performances in most markets, but fans are encouraged to check with their original point of purchase and the venue.
“Mr. Jones here with an update on my wrist, I think it’s good enough to do the upcoming tour, now if I can just stop my legs from buckling up, I think I’ll be in good shape,” the guitarist joked in a statement.
The reunion, absent original vocalist John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten, will include original members Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock, and feature British punk singer Frank Carter filling Lydon’s role. Fans can expect a full performance of the band’s landmark 1977 album “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols,” played in its entirety, along with additional material from the group’s catalog.
