Thompson was excellent for the Bulldogs in 2025. After serving as a reserve at Oklahoma in 2023 and 2024, he broke out for the Bulldogs to the tune of 1,054 yards and 6 touchdowns in his lone season at Mississippi State.
He will be a tough player for the Bulldogs to replace in 2026, but Jeff Lebby and Co. are hoping to take another step forward on offense next season even without Thompson as a downfield threat.
