On Friday, Feb. 27, the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) released a statement with an update on the investigation.
“This remains an active investigation and will continue until Nancy Guthrie is located or all leads have been exhausted,” the department shared, per People.
The department noted that it was “refocusing resources to detectives specifically assigned to this case.” It continued, “As leads are developed and resolved, resource allocation may fluctuate. PCSD will maintain a patrol presence in the Guthrie neighborhood.”

Additionally, the PCSD released video footage on Thursday, Feb. 26, of a car speeding down the street—at around the same time Nancy's pacemaker disconnected—about 2.5 miles away from Nancy's home.
“Investigators are actively reviewing surveillance video of vehicles traveling in the Catalina Foothills area, including areas farther from the Guthrie residence,” the PCSD noted. “We have asked homeowners in the surrounding community to submit any relevant footage,” the most recent update from the department read.”
The search for Nancy launched on Feb. 1 after the 84-year-old was last seen in her Tucson home on Jan. 31. As of writing, her family has offered a $1 million reward for any information leading to Nancy's return.
