Butterbeer Season returns to Universal Studios Hollywood with a dozen ways to satisfy your Butterbeer cravings as the movie theme park celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film.
Butterbeer Season starts Sunday, March 1 and runs through May 31 in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Universal’s culinary team created the original Butterbeer drink with flavors reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread that was first introduced in the 2004 “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” film.
Universal’s lineup of Butterbeer-flavored foods and drinks has continued to expand with fudge, potted cream and hard ice cream joining the ever-growing menu. This year’s new addition: Butterbeer Waffles.
Here are the 12 Butterbeer food and drink items available during Butterbeer Season 2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood:

Served chilled with a carbonated base and a foamy top at Three Broomsticks, Hog’s Head and outdoor vending carts throughout Wizarding World. Also available in a dairy-free version.
2) Frozen Butterbeer
The ice blended version is also available at Three Broomsticks, Hog’s Head and the outdoor vending carts. The frozen beverage can also be made vegan.
3) Hot Butterbeer
The warm version of the drink is only available at Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head.

The new signature item of Butterbeer Season 2026 will be available for a limited time at Three Broomsticks.
