PENFIELD, N.Y. — Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies say a person was slashed in the face during a fight at the Wegmans on Penfield Road.
Deputies say it happened at around 3 p.m. They say the two people got into a fight near the cash registers, when one of them got cut in the face by a “sharp instrument.”
Both of the people involved left the store, and deputies say this was an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
