She’s amazing," he first says. "It’s such a well-written, ambiguously manipulative, you can’t quite pinpoint what’s wrong with her type of character. That was her character. It was written so well."

"I went in there and had to have these really gaslighty, confusing scenes with my real mother. I’d stare at her and look at her. It was trippy. It was very hard. But at the end, we were super excited about it."White reveals that the two didn't even need to do a lot of in-depth work, given her extensive experience in the business. "We ran it a ton, and she just knew what to do. She was all baked in already. We just ran it a bunch, and it was great. She was great."
