The shocking price is five times higher than the previous high mark for any of the former Arizona Cardinals quarterback’s cards, the company added. There were a total of 95 bids for the card.

The card itself is a tough find and the massive reason for the price tag, being a green 1 of 1 Panini Kaboom from 2018 graded as a gem mint 9.5 (out of 10) by Beckett.

Even with the card’s rarity, the price tag still greatly outweighs what Rosen put on the football field during his short NFL run.

Coming over as the No. 10 overall NFL Draft pick in 2018, Rosen went 3-10 as a starter for the Cardinals as a rookie. He completed 55.2% of his throws for 2,278 yards and 11 touchdowns to 14 interceptions.

His time in Arizona would be short-lived, however, with the Cardinals dealing the quarterback to Miami the following NFL Draft for a second-round pick and future fifth-rounder. The move came a day after they brought in his replacement and 2019 No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray.

It was also not too long after then-head coach Kliff Kingsbury proclaimed “Josh is our guy” that February leading up to the draft.

Rosen’s time in Miami was far from fruitful, with the signal caller posting a 0-3 mark as a starter. He appeared in six games for the Dolphins in 2019, throwing just one touchdown to five interceptions to go along with 567 yards on 53.2% passing.

From there, Rosen struggled to find his footing with a franchise.

He landed on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ practice squad in 2020 before being signed by the San Francisco 49ers later in the year.

San Francisco inked him for another year but eventually released him in 2021.

That led him to the Atlanta Falcons, where he appeared in what would be his final four NFL games in 2021.

He wrapped up his NFL career with practice squad stints in Cleveland and Minnesota.
