SANTA MARIA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Maria Police arrested a driver for DUI after a head-on crash at the Elm Street and Donovan Road intersection just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The drunk driver traveled east on Donovan Road before suddenly swerving into the westbound lane and crashing into another car travelling west, according to the SMPD.
First responders helped with minor injuries at the scene and SMPD officers later arrested the drunk driver on DUI charges.
