Auburn baseball finished off a 3-0 weekend at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Sunday. The fifth-ranked Tigers defeated No. 15 Louisville 10-6 to move to 5-1 on the season.
Auburn held a 3-0 lead heading into the middle of the fourth inning before a two-run shot by the Cardinals’ Ethin Bingaman made it a 3-2 game in the bottom of the frame. Chase Fralick, though, put the Tigers up 4-2 in the fifth with his first home run of the season before Kade Elam’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth cut the lead to 4-3.
In the seventh inning, Auburn pushed five runs across to put the game away for good. Aaron England walked in a run before Bub Terrell’s two-RBI single pushed the lead to 6-3.

Alex Petrovic picked up the win to improve to 2-0 on the young season. The redshirt sophomore from Cypress, Texas — two hours east of the Metroplex — pitched 5.0 innings while giving up three runs and six hits, striking out five and walking none.
The Tigers return home to face West Georgia on Wednesday. First pitch from Plainsman Park is set for 7 p.m. ET.
