ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man and a woman died early Sunday after their vehicle rolled onto its side during a crash on Joseph Avenue.
Rochester Police and Rochester Fire crews responded around 1:31 a.m. and found the vehicle heavily damaged with both victims trapped inside. Firefighters extricated the pair, who were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police say the vehicle was heading south on Joseph Avenue when it struck a light pole and overturned. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash.
The victims have not yet been identified.
